What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
